A yoga student, teacher, and yoga therapist, Kellie Livingstone began practicing yoga while living in Boulder, Colorado in 2011. She did her original 200-hour training with CorePower Yoga and then completed an additional 300-hour training at OM Time Yoga. Some of her most influential teachers have been Jason Bowman, Nancy-Kate Williams, Shannon Paige, Gina Caputo, Nischala Joy Devi, Richard Miller, and Amy Weintraub. Originally from San Diego, Kellie is currently living in beautiful Queenstown, New Zealand.
Kellie is a student in an 800-hour Yoga Therapy training at the Soul of Yoga in Encinitas and studies under the dedicated guidance of senior teachers Monique Lonner and Justine Shelton. She has devoted years to studying the intricate anatomy of both the physical and energetic body. She strives to inspire her students to foster an interest in slowing down, paying attention to the subtle things, and remembering their innate ability to heal themselves. Kellie is comfortable working with students with a wide range of physical, mental, or emotional conditions such as chronic stress or pain, anxiety, arthritis, Parkinson's, sciatica, fibromyalgia, pregnancy, and more. Her asana classes typically involve a deep focus on breath, meditation, postural alignment, and investigation of heart-seeded intention. Because of her love for both yogic philosophy and poetry, there is often an interweaving of the two within each asana class.
